Sightings:
Several places in the Atacama Desert area of northern Chile in December 2016.
Notes:
A large goose, with the male having quite a thick neck. Seen in wetlands and near saltpans.
I think this is the female as it has more brown on the back than a male.
Oh! There is a beautiful bird!
