Chilean Skua - Stercorarius chilensis


Sightings:

Seen on Isla Los Penguinos, Chile, December 2016.

Notes: 

The rufous throat makes it easy to identify.


This one was scavenging on a dead Kelp Gull.

    Great pictures! It should not be thought that the skua also eat other birds.
