A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!
Horned Puffin
Horned Puffin - Fratercula corniculata
Sightings:
Kolyuchin Island, Chukotka, Russia, 21.8.2015. Notes:
Seen at several sites in Chukotka and the Bering Sea. The horns are apparently skin. This species is the middle sized of the three Puffin species.
