A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Sightings:
Katherine Gorge campground, 26.7.2016, two birds. Notes:
A widespread bird of northern Australia, and quite distinctive with the bright colours of the male seen above. The female is quieter coloured.
