A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Great Bowerbird - Chlamydera nuchalis
Sightings:
Winjana Gorge National Park, 2 & 3.8.2016, several birds. Notes:
Widespread and fairly common in northern and north western Australia, even in caravan parks in some places.
A bird at a bower arranging "treasures" in front of it.
