White-winged Chough - Corcorax melanorhamphos
Sightings:
Templestowe: 2016: September, October.
Glynn's Reserve, Warrandyte: 2016: September, October.
Pound Bend, Warrandyte State Park: 2017: January.
Notes:
When their wings are folded, they seem to be black like a corvid, but have a red eye and a curved bill. When they open their wings to fly, a white wing patch is revealed.
The feed on the ground in groups mostly, and fly off in a group when alarmed, calling.
