A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Sightings:
Seen in several places in Sri Lanka, February 2016. Notes:
Both rufous and white morph seen. Only the males have the long rails. Females are only rufous. They always seemed to be in shadow.
