White-chinned Petrel

White-chinned Petrel - Procellaria aequinoctialis

Sightings:

Port Fairy pelagic, 9.11.2014, at least one bird.

Notes:

The white chin isn't always obvious!  They are a fairly common sighting on Victorian pelagics.  Their bill is yellowish with a hooked tip, but has a blackish ridge and nostril.  Their feet are dark, and they are a relatively large petrel.
