A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.

Near the Stirling Ranges, W.A.: 2016: August. Notes:
Has less blue on the wing than a Blue-winged Parrot, the forehead stripe goes just past the eye unlike the Blue-wing and is more golden-green. Seen feeding by the side of the road.
