A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

La Selva, Costa Rica: 2014: January.
Notes:
A large bird which, perhaps surprisingly, seemed quite at home moving about branches about 3 metres up. The red skin on the throat really stood out.
