Long-billed Corella

Long-billed Corella - Cacatua tenuirostris

Sightings:

East Doncaster:  2016:  September, October, November.
Glynn's Reserve, Warrandyte:  2016:  October.
Ruffey Lake Park, Doncaster:  2016:  November.  2017:  January.

Notes:

Common around this area.  Has more colour than a Little Corella, and a much longer upper part to the bill.

Mutual preening is a common part of reinforcing pair or family bonds in the cockatoo family, and Long-billed Corellas are no exception.
