A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Speckled Pigeon - Columba guinea
Sightings:
Nakuru National Park, Kenya, 17.9.2014, 1 bird seen. Notes:
It was a fairly large pigeon, about the size of a Rock Dove (Feral Pigeon) with the red eye skin making it quite distinctive.
