Spotted Pardalote

Spotted Pardalote - Pardalotus punctatus

Glynn's Reserve, Warrandyte:  2016:  September.
Templestowe:  2016:  November.
Wilson Reserve, East Doncaster:  2017:  January.

Pardalotes are small birds actively foraging amongst eucalypt leaves.   The one above is a male.

This image shows the beautiful upper markings.

Even a rear view is attractive with that touch of red helping with identification.

Young fledged bird seen in a group 10.1.2017.

It's head spots are yellow.
