A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Sightings:
Seen in Samburu National Park, Kenya and in Madagascar, 23.9.2014, at least two birds. Notes:
Male is a striking small dove with a long tail, while the female is more quietly coloured.
