A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Samburu National Park, Kenya, 22.9.2014, 2 birds - the only two we saw in Kenya. Notes:
The neck plumes and colours there make this a striking guineafowl. These two were with a small flock of Helmeted Guineafowls.
