A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.

Seen in several places in Sri Lanka, February 2016.
Notes:
The image shows a male, with the female being similar but slate grey. Seen in gardens too.
There is a beautiful bird!
