A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.

Update 11.11.2016.
It's sunny and still this morning, and an introduced species, the Common Blackbird is singing as I type!
Today I've added Yellow-throated Sandgrouse from Kenya.
What a great looking bird! I've never seen the pictures. Is it a bird the size of a dove? Greetings
