Today is clear, and a light breeze has just sprung up, although it was still when I went for my walk this morning.
It was a pleasant walk at Wilson Reserve in Ivanhoe, about 20 minutes drive away, and I saw several species there I haven't seen so far this year, which brought me to 57 for the year so far.
Today I've added a page for Australasian Swamphen in the Australian pages.
Aha! Another one I've seen...........
ReplyDeleteIt's odd what birds we do and don't see when visiting or living in other places!
DeleteBeautiful bird. Displays a coot, it is just a different color. You've seen the incredibly fine birds! Greetings
ReplyDeleteIt's larger than a coot which we also have, thanks, Anne.
DeleteHello, your swamphen is pretty. Love the colors around the neck. Great shot. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI think your Swamphen is prettier than ours, but they are both attractive-looking!
