A blog for sharing my getting to know birds as I learn from my meetings with them! These will mostly be Australian, but will include overseas birds that I meet when I travel.
The blog will just give birds added on a particular day with a page for each bird included so please look at the pages as they will have more photos and text that a post!

Update 6.1.2017
It's already 29C at our place at 10.30 and still.
Today I've added Magpie-lark to the Australian column on the left of the page.
Hello Sonja, whether bird magpie? Just looks different than ours, coloring is just the same. A really beautiful bird. Whether they are the same kind of sound than we magpies here? Of these, we sound of birds is not a beautiful, in addition to the hard fighting over; -) Greetings
It's not a magpie as you have, but is an Australian family of mud-nesters. They don't sound musical at all, but are a little aggressive sometimes when they are nesting.
